Paget graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in social work. Shortly after receiving a master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family from Geneva College, life became quite busy raising five rambunctious children, including twins. Some years later, she returned to her career and subsequently received two more degrees from Union Institute and University. The first was a master’s degree in clinical psychology and the second was her doctorate in psychology. Her prime area of interest is trauma. Paget is licensed through the state of Pennsylvania as a psychologist and has been designated a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) by the International Association of Trauma Professionals. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Paget’s clinical experience has been broad and varied, addressing mental health issues, emotional problems and relationship challenges. Her training has included various clinical settings, such as hospitals, residential, outpatient and community work. She finds it quite rewarding to work with children, families, individuals, and couples. Paget offers Christian counselling for anyone who requests it. Her passion is to be a part of the healing journey of those who step into her office.
